Enjoy a decision-free night out at J's Steak Frites. This restaurant offers guests one item, and one item only: steak frites – a concept that’s taken off in popularity in Paris and is now coming to Toronto.
At this exclusive event you'll learn all of the tips and tricks when it comes to steak - from where to buy it, how to season it and of course, how to grill it!
Enjoy a prix-fixe dinner of house-made bread and butter, followed by a green salad with walnut and lemon vinaigrette, and the pièce de résistance: a 10oz, locally sourced Canadian AAA NY striploin, unlimited, must-have frites, and a delectable butter sauce also made in house.
Dinner will be accompanied by wine, with pairing notes from Jad Sfeir, the J of J's Steak Frites. Jad will also speak to the trend of offering only one menu item and why he felt a restaurant like this was missing in Toronto. After dinner enjoy an exclusive dessert made by co-owner and Le Cordon Bleu trained pastry chef, Tara Tang.
