Panelists: 

Raj Kothari currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation, and on the boards of the Ontario Arts Foundation, and the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto. Raj was Managing Partner for Greater Toronto at PwC Canada until December 31, 2017, and was a member of PwC’s Extended Leadership Team until June 30, 2018. Raj has been an active fundraiser and chaired: the Stratford Express, Stratford's single largest fundraising event for three years; "India, The Living Arts" Exhibition at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa; “Diwali, A Night To Shine” from 2012-2014 and 2017-2019 for the University Health Network (UHN); and Soulpepper Theatre’s largest fundraising event in 2016, 2017 and 2018. 

Gillian Smith was appointed as managing partner of NATIONAL’s Toronto office in October 2020. Gillian has more than 20 years of experience in public relations and strategic communications. Over the course of her career, she has held senior positions with multiple organizations in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors including RBC, Aeroplan, the Toronto Region Board of Trade and the Institute for Canadian Citizenship. Before joining NATIONAL, she was working at her own consulting agency, acting as a senior advisor with a portfolio of C-suite and Board clients across multiple industries, including healthcare, technology, financial services and energy. Gillian Smith serves as a board director with the Ontario Science Centre, TO Live, Toronto Arts Foundation, Business and the Arts, the Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund and The Walrus Foundation. She also ran for the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario in the 2018 provincial election.

Jessika J. Fink, is the Director, Partnerships & Marketing at St. Joseph Media including Canada’s most iconic and celebrated media brands: Canadian BusinessChatelaine (English and French), FASHION Magazine, HELLO! CanadaMaclean’sToday’s Parent and Toronto Life. Prior to joining SJC Media, Jessika's experience entailed fundraising, business development and marketing both in Canada and the United States. She’s always on the pulse of what’s next and explores all new partnerships with excitement and strategic vision. With a strong passion for several causes, Jessika continues to support multiple not-for-profit and cultural organizations during this challenging time.

The panel will be moderated by Jason Maghanoy, Head of Business Development, St. Joseph Media.
