Serving Knowledge, the dynamic new monthly supper club created in partnership with UHN Foundation, is back!

On Thursday, September 16, you are exclusively invited to attend the Serving Knowledge Supper Club at The Drake Hotel's beautiful Sky Yard patio, in support of UHN Foundation. The multi-course dinner includes a welcome drink along with beverage pairings and will have guests dining on delicious dishes by Executive Chef Laura Maxwell designed to boost your brain power, help with muscle memory and fuel your focus. During the experience, guests will have the opportunity to hear from world-renowned clinicians and researchers at University Health Network’s Krembil Brain Institute. (KBI).

Nearly one in 10 Canadians live with a neurological condition such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, spinal cord injury or brain cancer. During this special experience, TL Insiders will learn how Dr Lorraine Kalia and Dr Suneil Kalia are solving some of the world’s toughest neurological problems.

The intimate evening will explore neuromodulation – the development of next-generation ‘smart’ neurotechnologies, be they implantable or wearable, to address the burden of neurological diseases. You will hear from pioneers in the field about their hopeful findings that could one day pave the way to new treatments, including a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

Drs. Lorraine and Suneil Kalia, are a husband and wife team with the Edmond J. Safra Program in Parkinson’s Disease and the Morton and Gloria Shulman Movement Disorders Clinic at the KBI.

By registering for the event, you are supporting healthcare research, education and the enhancement of patient care with a donation to UHN Foundation.
